  • Shipping & despatch Times
Printed clothing orders can take up to 14 days to process before shipping as they are printed to order.
Please note we work with a number of artisans who take longer to complete orders, 21 days for silver smiths & hand made leather items. Be sure to pay close attention to whether an item is a pre-order for a coming release.
UK Customers:
We use Royal Mail Tracked. You should have your order within 2-3 working day of receiving shipping confirmation. 
EU Customers:
We use a tracked service with a 5-7 working days approx' shipping time. However, customs delays can occur so we kindly ask you wait around 14-working days before contacting us about potentially lost parcels. It is important that you look for any communications from customs incase you need to pay import duty or taxes. Be sure to check your items tracking for updates. 
Rest Of World Customers:
We use a tracked service that has a 7-10 working day approx' shipping time.
Please bear in mind international orders have to go through customs which can cause slight delays. We ask customers to kindly wait 14-working days before contacting us if your shipment hasn't arrived for this reason. Be sure to check your items tracking for updates.
  • Import Taxes & Duties:

Please be advised that customs charges and/or import duties are determined by customs at the destination country and where applicable, may be imposed once the parcel arrives to the recipient.

Unfortunately, this is not something we control and payment of these charges/taxes is the responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by Descended From Odin.

Please also check local postal regulations for restricted items, as Descended From Odin will not be held liable for any items that are not accepted into your postage destination.

Please note if you return an item because you failed to observe customs laws, you are not eligible to have shipping refunded.

  • My item never turned up. What shall I do?
Please first check your tracking number! If that doesn't provide an answer contact us at team@descendedfromodin.co.uk
We will always do our best to ensure you get the items you ordered!
We often get shipments sent back due to incorrect addresses provided or failure to collect from local post office and we are more than happy to re-ship these for you, though we will charge for re-shipping if you were at fault. 
If an item is lost in transit from us to you, we will re-ship it free of charge.
  • What happens if I pre-order an item and buy currently available items too?

As postage is paid once, we will post your order all in one go. If you want your other items sooner then it's best to do two separate orders, one for currently available items and one for the pre-order item(s).


  • Can I add some more to an order I've already placed?

No, sorry! It has already been processed through both the order system and the postage system, so you will have to create a new order. If you do this in time, we are happy to combine your order where possible and refund shipping. 


  • There are items missing from my order

As we work with several different crafters, it may be that the items are arriving from separate locations, if the times stated on the item descriptions have passed, just get in touch and we'll check on this for you.


  • How do I return/exchange items?
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to get a return back to us. To avoid wasting resources we no longer include returns slips. Please just write a note including your name, order number & details of return/exchange so we can help you as quickly as possible. If you email us we will advise on the best return location depending on who crafted your item: team@descendedfromodin.co.uk
  • What can I return?
No returns on sale items and/or custom-made items unless faulty.
No returns on underwear, socks, jewellery or worn items. 
No returns on digital items, event tickets and downloads. 
All items must return to us in the same condition as we sent them to you and unwashed. The item must be in a condition that can be sold to another customer as new (but yes, you can try them on!)
  • Do you provide free return shipping?
We do not provide free return labels as shipping isn't free & this industry practice encourages a larger waste footprint. However there is no extra charge for sending exchanged items back to you. 
It is your responsibility to cover costs for returning items and to ensure they arrive safely so please use tracked and insured returns. 
  • Overseas Returns
In the case that you are returning items from outside the UK please ensure you use an appropriately priced returns service at your post office. You must tick ‘returns’ on your package and customs form. If not, when the parcel comes into the U.K. there will be a customs charge. In this case we will not pay that charge and the parcel will be refused and sent back to you so please ensure it’s clearly stated that it is a returned item!
  • How long do returns take to process?
Returns can take up to 21 days to process - especially in busy periods but we will try to do them as soon as we can!
